Welcome
Nobody likes copycats; yet, many people pattern their lives after a famous actor or actress, superstar athlete, and world renown political figure. Something in the human heart urges people to pattern their lives after someone or something bigger and better than who they are. That urge and desire was placed in the heart by God. That urge and desire is a God-shaped vacuum that only Jesus Christ can fill.
At First Baptist Church, we value helping people become lifelong learners of Jesus Christ. I John 2:6 says, “Those who say they live in God should live their lives as Christ did” (New Living Translation). People today are seriously tired of old, lifeless religion; and yet, there is nothing old, tired, and lifeless about experiencing the power of Christin the family, in the school, in the workplace, and in the church.
